Our Kortext e-book collection is a selection of books recently purchased by Health Education England for NHS Libraries. This collection includes the popular ‘at Glance’ book collection which provides a good overview for a number of Health Care topics. Kortext also has a wide variety of popular titles related to nursing, mental health and other key texts on health care.
Oxford Medicine Online
Through Oxford Medicine Online we have access to a number of ebook versions of key Oxford Medicine textbooks. This includes the popular Oxford Medical Handbooks series, useful for quick reference on the go.
ProQuest
ProQuest is our main ebook request portal where you can search our ebook catalogue with a wide variety of over 4800 titles and with the quick click of a button request an ebook which will support your work at Bradford Teaching Hospitals. We already own and subscribe to over 638 titles on this platform so it is well worth a browse.
The Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical and Cancer Nursing Procedures
This manual is often nicknamed ‘the bible of nursing’ as this thick book extensively covers a wide range of nursing procedures. Through our subscription to the online version, you have the benefit of easily searching nursing procedures simply by typing keywords in the search box or scrolling through the chapters. The ‘Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust’ have created this text to be ‘The Gold Standard in Evidence-Based Nursing Care’ and we would highly recommend our nursing staff and students consult this text either in ebook or print format.
